All-Staff Photo
February 24th was the Humane Society Spay Day this year. When we announced our decision to participate to our staff, they latched on to the idea and really rallied! We designated a certain number of surgeries to be done that day, but even once that number was met, people kept volunteering time and we were able to add even more. As a result of the entire staff's enthusiasm for this cause, we were able to spay or neuter 26 pets. One of our kennel staff even made matching T-shirts for everyone, and other staff members pitched in a few dollars apiece so she could afford to make one for everybody. The actual Spay Day went very smoothly and having such a specific focus really united our team.
